The façade of Emporium Melbourne, located at one of Melbourne CBD's busiest intersections, is home to Australia’s largest full-motion, 3D enabled digital screen. And now, it’s award-winning!

The Emporium Melbourne screen, which offers 455 sqm of unobstructed viewing, has become a landmark digital site in the centre of one of Australia’s busiest retail precincts, and it was recently recognised at the 2026 Outdoor Media Association (OMA) Industry Awards.

The awards shine a spotlight on the professionals, teams and organisations whose creativity, innovation and commitment continue to raise the bar across Australia’s out-of-home media industry.

Vicinity Centres, alongside our partners at QMS, took home the award for Excellence in Design and Construction for the delivery of the Emporium Melbourne external digital screen.

The Excellence in Design and Construction category recognises teams and companies that deliver exceptional outcomes through special installations, immersive real-world experiences and inventory assets that enhance public spaces while pushing creative boundaries.

Using the space to its full potential, the digital billboard is 100% full motion and 3D OOH enabled, offering brands the capability to deliver highly creative, immersive 3D campaigns that really bring a brand to life and capture attention.

This recognition is a testament to the incredible collaboration, vision and expertise demonstrated throughout the project by the Vicinity Centres and QMS teams. From concept through to delivery, the project showcases what’s possible when innovation, creativity and technical excellence come together.

Congratulations to our media team and Emporium Melbourne Centre Management team for delivering a truly industry‑leading outcome. Their commitment to delivering world-class media experiences continues to elevate not only our portfolio, but the broader out-of-home industry.

We’re honoured to be recognised among the industry’s leading organisations and proud to contribute to projects that continue shaping the future of Australia’s outdoor media landscape.
